P.J. Harper, Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), Manchester, Michigan, recently completed an extensive educational course on critical senior issues conducted by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors®. A national organization, CSA offers training to professionals in 47 states. Successful participants earn the organization's Certified Senior Advisor CSA™ designation by completing coursework and passing a comprehensive examination. Mr. Harper has taken this educational initiative to become a professional leader in meeting the key needs and issues concerning senior citizens.
Professionals in the fields of investments, insurance, medicine and recreation require a broad spectrum of information to serve the needs of seniors. The Society of Certified Senior Advisors keeps the professional advised of changing developments, practices and research by providing education, monthly updates, support and marketing assistance.
Today, America's growing senior population (65 and older) numbers over 35 million. Because this age group will continue to increase, educated professionals must be ready to respond to and work with the challenges and opportunities facing seniors. As a CSA, Mr Harper will participate in the society's annual continuing education.
